Bus hits rickshaw in city: one killed
A passenger bus hit a rickshwa at Paltan in the city yesterday, killing a woman. Forty-year-old Morshuda Begum died on the spot.
Relatives said Morsuda, accompanied by her younger sister's husband, was going to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 12:30pm when the accident took place.
Local people caught driver Mainudin of Gabtoli-Sayedabad bus and handed over him to the police. Motijheel police also seized the bus.
