As usual I'm very slow on the uptake and have decided to join this forum as I become an ex-rickshaw company owner.

My name is Amy, my business is Lily-Peds Private Hire Rickshaw Service and I'm in Devon.

I closed down my small Exeter based company this month due to all the new laws and legistlations regarding battery powered Pedi-cabs which hit my service right in the face as I only have one bike, no wanton to run my cab as a car and feck loads of hills!

I'm really interested to hear from anyone who is intested or affected by such matters or who wants to buy a bike(on the 'to sell pages')!

I've heared of you and things may still swing back, the LPOA is hoping that once the PCO start to talk to the industry, then the rules will reflect what the business will need, which will then be followed by a shift to the EU rules which will allow electric assisted pedicabs ......

Well, so we hope - things seam to swing left and right and what bugs me is that they are using the tax money like there is no tomorrow to kill this industry..
