I was wondering if anyone could shoot me some links of different makers of the canopy tops for rickshaws... here is a picture of mine for reference... I live in the USA in Los Angeles. Thanks! :):):)

I believe this is a Taiwanees canopy and MS pedicabs should be able to help you make up a copy, as they have one of these pedicabs in their collection.

Yes, I just learned these were made in Taiwan. A friend translated the plaque on the back. It was made in Taipei around WW II.

Does MS pedicabs have a web page or contact info? Where are they located?

Wow, this looks like a lot of work. Would be nice if you could post fotos after the work is done....

If the metal is not entirely rusted away, you may be able to take the existing canopy to a local company that does upholstery work for classic cars. It will cost more than getting a new one from mainstreet, but you can get the craftsmen to make one that look original. That is if you are willing to pay what they ask. The canopies from mainstreet are likely to look some thing like the picture below.
