Sweden rickshaw

I'm a rickshaw owner of 24 rickshaws since summer 2000 and I drive every day a rickshaw. if not repair!
I'm very close to the reality of a rickshaw driver. You can call it that I'm "working on the floor".
I didn't know nothing about a rickshaw before I bought mine.
I get the key and the guy get the money. When he was gone I just sat down and shaked my head. "Josef! What have you done!!! What shell you done with all this rickshaws???"
I didn't know how to drive a rickshaw. Where to buy spare parts. How to repair them. How to finde drivers. How to finde customers. HOW TO PULL UP A 100 kg RICKSHAW FROM THE GARAGE 20 FLOORE UNDER STREET LEVEL!? No elevator!
After 5 years in season I know much moore. It is VERY fun! But lot and lot of work and truble. Which work does not have?
After 3 years I hade enough of rickshaws of very poor quality. I started to look around on the net, world wide for better rickshaws to buy.
I must admit I was happy to se all 1000 and 1000 of different rickshaw models. I didn't have much money so I looked to asian rickshaws. They seems very fancy on the pictures. I didn't know how bad the quality was, in that time. Today I know better!!! It's easy to own a rickshaw in asian countrys. You have a repairman every 100 meter!
So. I visited India year 2004 to try to buy some good quality rickshaw and to see it with my own eyes. I decided to buy 2. The rest of the story you can read on: http://pedicabforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=312#post312
When I get home I was angry and not satisfyed what I'w seen.
So I started to use the inside of my head. I knew what I want from a rickshaw and what a DON'T.
I have to develope my own rickshaw.
1: Totaly maintenance free.
2: Light weight.
3: "Don't try to invent the egg once again!" Use a good MTB-bike and attache the rickshaw (Vehicle) to it!
It tooked cuple of month to find a manufacturer with capacity. Now I sell the ALL PURPOSE RICKSHAW world wide.
As I use it every day I know how to drive it. What the customers feels and think about it. I have NEVER heard a customer saying "No thanks! I feel pity for you. I rather walk!"
This words I hear every time when I drive a chinese rickshaw. Weight moore than 100 kg. It is strong and heavy like a tank! But easy to drive for the genius simple 2 gears construction. 32 T chain wheel and 18 T freewheel on the rear axle.
This is MY story!
