The pedicab is run by www.Bugugs.co.uk (http://www.Bugugs.co.uk) who us http://www.velocab.de.

I have just joined bugbugs & they are very professional!!!! My first day was spent doing a free training session ( with a compitence test at the end ) & a few days later had my first days with there Velo bikes.

They look like a silver bullet & kind work just like that, the bike has only eight gears & singel wheel drive. Contraire to what I though would be not so great a bike, turned out to be quite a bullet proof, hard working beast.

It rides very well & handels smoothly, even cobble stones (romen road left overs) don't make you 'slip' wheel, the eight gears are just enough for top end & start up speed, with the light being just the best!!!

They have LED white lights, indicators, red rear & break lights, which with a small battery last the full 10 hour shift (which is unheard of! ) Passenger plat form is spacious enough for a push chair or luggage & the seat belt stops the peps from going flying on a hard stop.

The current retro fit is a nice hand rail behind the driver ass to assist granny jumping aboard. Rain covers are quite OK & are easy/quick to fold forward & secure back when not needed (nice little window to smile at them not getting wet:rolleyes: ). Though the velcro that holds the last bit of rain shield needs to be Fxxk in the bin.

Fixing a puncture on the front wheel is easy with the quick release but the back has a great little cover that is a bitch to get off (though they do show you how to do this when its not raining:D ).

As they have a military system of checking the bike every 20 RIDES, the little fellas have nice breaks & work for all of my rides. The metal back does give a nice splat noise when you get some moron trying to run after you to try & get a free ride (not that any one does this:o ).

Draw backs are, less manoverable then a maximus (which I abused for more than a year).

Seat does not 'hold' on to custmers but the seat belt does (its a must!)

Rear punctures are a bitch to change due to wheel guard, though now got puncture proofs in them & pick the glass out after every night.

Solid rims & strong wheels (which will take 3 fat guyes on a slalom), thats side to side quickly for any one who don't ski.

The bar infront of my nuts is hard to get a leg over after a few long rides but I'm sure it does stop the bike from doing something (maybe keep pritty girls from riding... BUh, Buh!!!:D )

Front forks could do with a mm (10"inch) more metal to stop em bending when you jump a curve (though this is verboten!).

All the bits do make a lurvaly sound on dem cobbles, so I always check on the older trikes that all is padded & taped.

When in full swing this baby roles like the chariot of the Bitch from hell & does a nice bit of glinting in the morning sun (thats even after a few years of on the road) S o a very well done!

So my rating of this bike is quite high at 7 out of 10.

(sadly god has not let us make a 10 yet but there are elfes every were making the three wheels of destani)
