Here's a picture & a description of tires I need for my 1940's VICTORY pedicab made in TaiPei Taiwan.

The old tires have a flap that folds over the tube before it's mounted on the rim.

One old tire says:
"Veith Cord Autotyp' made in Germany 26 x 1 1/2. (650 x 38B).

The other old tire says:
'YI YANG Rubber Industrial Co' 26 x 1 3/4.

The only new ones I could find say:
'Cheng Shim Tire' 26 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/2 (40-584) I believe 584 is the important number!!
These fit the rims, but are way too skinnny & don't have the flap thhat covers the tube.
If I put more that 30lbs air, they pop off the rims & the tube breaks.
I was told I need BEADED tires.

The rims have the name 'UFAHO' stamped in them.

If you could find some replacement tires for me, that would be great.
Or, does anyone make a 26" 40-spoke rim?
If so, I could re-spoke the new rim & use a 'normal' tire.

(The pedicab is for sale if you know of anyone looking for one. I'm asking $5000)

Thanks....Ken Roy
