I'm not actually in business, just pretty handy with a wrench and was able to build an electric rickshaw at a fraction of the cost of some of the models currently on the market.

If anyone is interested in taking a look at the little booger, please feel free:

Most of the details are in the above link, but just in case you don't make it that far:

Smaller bench (lighter and easier to pedal)
Front shocks
1 hp electric assist motor
Two batteries (about 12 mile-range on each)

I still haven't taken it out, but hope to do so within the next few days.

Your trike looks a bit like this little baby I spoted lurking in a london base. It's an indian trike (looks like the same rims too) & is very light indeed, especialy the body which is a mix of wood, very thin fiber glass & thick cussion.

Sadly the tubing is a bit of a liabilety & is to thin, the guy who bought it is busy welding more under the frame. He plans to only use it for private runs with his wife & carnival time.

I must admit that I quite like this style but would not use it for working the streets every day of the week.
