I would like to hear some impressions from people who are actually driving it!
So would I. Personally I would not be caught dead on one of them, not as a rider nor as a passenger. They look soooooo 3rd rate. Made in Eastern Europe too. Hmmmmm.
Some kinda feedback would be nice though. Anyone use these things?

I don't really like the design...Calcutta-Like...but the idea to develop a tricycle like this with a lot of space good be very useful for Kindergardens etc..it seems to be very versatil...this is really a good point.
I wonder if V-brakes on all wheels is enough...Heavy load carrier with maxload of 280 kg. This means: Driver included, right? So let's say 80 kg driver...it can take 2 passengers of 90 kg or 180 kg total extra...right? Not too much...or is it: 280 kg on the back seats plus driver? In this case it sounds enough...But the brakes? Hmmmm.
Anyway: If you can not find any driver of these rickshaws here: Contact the manufacturer and ask him to which countries / cities / companies he sold them and contact them directly....I guess that most of them would give you a friendly answer.

Indian rickshaws, bike or hand pulled look nothing like these. As a matter of fact nothing I have seen in Asia does though I have seen more than a few of the school run pedicabs both with an enclosed back kinda like the photo above and with all the kids piled one on top of the other. Is that what you meant by Calcutta? How many riders are going to get out of bed to do a school run? Given what I charge I cant see it being affordable though we have a lot of cheap operators here. As for v breaks on a pedicab? Sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Would a rig like that be insurable?

Hi Guys!
It´s me who are the owner, developer and the distributor of my Euro-Rickshaw all over the world. Nice to see that you find my home site :-) Why is it manufactured in Hungary? Because I´m born in Hungary. And they need work´s, work´s and work´s.
believe me when I say that the the manufacturer is a VERY skillful guy! He has worked as a bicycle developer in a big bicycle factory.
We have good contact even with the largest bicycle manufacture company in Hungary. Have you seen their newly developed "Stringbike"? http://www.schwinncsepel.hu/. I say no more...
As for all the rickshaws, no one should be used as a racing car!
It is for environmentally friendly driving at comfortable speed. Which means about 10-15 km/h.
At that speed the V-brakes are enough to brake slowly and easy. Without the passengers get they breath in their throat.
I have drive my Euro-Rickshaw in 2 years now in Stockholm. With different customers. As you can see on my website.
You can see it in action and how useful it is also on this website: www.ureilteam.com
The children are very happy as they like the riding in the rickshaw.
"Given what I charge I cant see it being affordable though we have a lot of cheap operators here."
I charge 25 EURO for start and 10 EURO for each kid for one hour. It´s not much for the parent´s to pay but it give´s lot of satisfaction for the kids when we are driving for picnic. And I´m satisfied with the payment...
As for the rain protection, I was thinking even for the riders! It´s not so fun to drive when you are completely wet and the passengers laughing at you.
Just in this day´s we have changed the gears. From 7 to only 3. Which is built in into a box. No more problems with chain´s, chain wheels or gears! I had 7 gears and never used more than maximum 4-th gear. Why put 24 gears, which are developed for bicycles who weight only 10 kg on a rickshaw which has to carry 350-400 kg? It only gives you trouble! You never ever use more than 3-4 gears on a rickshaw with passengers!
We are constantly developing the Euro-Rickshaw to make it better and easier for the driver´s and for all kind of passengers.
"I don't really like the design...Calcutta-Like" The wedding decorated Euro-Rickshaw is very well known in Stockholm as the most beautiful and environmentally friendly vehicle to ride from the church to the dining room! As the newly merry-ed couple has a very nice 360 degreed panorama view and can be seen from the people on the street´s as they greets them as royalty´s.
I would appreciate you all as rickshaw drivers, what you like OR dislike on the Euro-Rickshaw.
Right now I´m discussing with 5 exclusive Dealer or reseller of my Euro-Rickshaw in different country's.
Are you interested for the job? E-mail me: info@eurorickshaw.eu

And, when I´m on the line.
My manufacturer has 7 newly build VELOTAXI like rickshaws. Everything is manufactured only the fiberglass roof is missing. But it can be replaced with Suspended Ceiling or other cheaper material then fiberglass. The guy who ordered was lack of money to finish them and he just left the rickshaws. If you are interested send me e-mail.

Your shaws look retarded and you are passing off a bike made in Eastern Europe as something made in Western Europe. Not cool.
