Hi Rider,

I think that it will be very difficult to get plans for building a rickshaw....All the manufacturer spent a looooot of money and much time to develop them...Why should they give you the plans?

That's why I believe that nobody will send you detailed plans http://pedicabforum.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif

My suggestion:
Travel arround Europe or US and visit some operators or manufacturers to see the and try the different pedicabs. Check our link section. Soon there will be a complete list of pedicab operators online. Are there any in Africa????

As you posted your request in 3 different threads I deleted 2 of them http://pedicabforum.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif

Maybe another way: Buy the book "Chasing Rickshaws" (http://pedicabforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40&highlight=chasing) and get some visual impressions of the different rickshaws (mostl of them from Asia).....

Another idea: Send an email to the manufacturers....maybe you can deal with them to build them in Africa, paying a licence....

Just talk directly to them.

All the best from Barcelona

Hi Gerald,

Thanx for your response. Unfortunately we have no or very little pedicabs in Africa. I will however take your advise and attempt to find meet an agreement with them.

Cheers,

Rider
