I have also modified and repaired most of the leading makes such as Mainstreets and Maximus's and the company that i work for has carried out more work for freddy at bug bugs than i care to remember. This is my take on the passenger carrying tricycle. The vehicle is designed to carry 2 adults in an enclosed seating area of comfort and safety while looking good. The specs are as follows:
*Very strong steel frame including cold-drawn tubing, skinned in lightweight aluminium.
*Large diameter twin crowned Mono-Leg fork.
*2x19" wheels all-round with large flange hubs and 10 guage spokes.
*Standardised 3x8 bicycle gearing components.
*Front mechanical disk brake 180mm, rear hydraulic magura's running on massive 203mm disks!
*Gorgeously upholstered seating area with 2 seat belts, leaflet holders,funky striped floor.
*Underseat storage compartment for the rider, upright comfy riding position, cushy saddle.
*Clearview folding hood with removable back and side panels and removable door panels also.
*800mm square 'clean' back advertising panel. Loads of advertising space on the front panels.
*Stainless steel Numptey Bars to protect the bodywork from bollards that 'come out of nowhere'.
*Total weight: 85 kg (same as a cycles Maximus).

The handling of this bike is lovely. The steering is spot on. Please note anyone wishing to establish a fleet, I will be producing more of these that with a few design tweaks and lighter materials will come in at sub-60 kg.
