600 km with a pedicab

Hi to all,

Trixi.com is the leading pedicab company in Southern Europe and Spain and established 8 years ago. Now we are going to open a shop / operation in Madrid, Spain.

Having a beer with our drivers, they asked me: How will you bring the pedicabs to Madrid and I told them: In a van. The reaction of our drivers was: Hey Gerald - A pedicab should be cycled. Let us cycle to Madrid.....

A good idea was born. On the 6th of June 3 of our drivers (Lucio, Marcos and Joselito) will do the tour and beeing followed by a bicycle with a trailer with spare parts and tools - the driver will be Txisti (5 years cycling a pedicab).

However: We have a BLOG in Spanish language (www.trixi.com/blog) and will post some fotos of their "viaje" in this thread.

The car drivers react very positive. Sometimes they wink with the newspaper in the hand where a report about this trip came out. There are even car drivers searching the pedicabs on the highway to say hello....

We are not disturbing the traffic. We ARE traffic. Most of the car drivers give the pedicabbers a smile.
