Idriss, who rents pedicabs for free in NYC?

I stopped by a few shops yesterday and they all charge between $200-300 a week.

I'm interested in renting a pedicab on the weekends, any info would be greatly appreciated.

YAY!!!! I received my pedicab Drivers' License in the mail today, took exactly one week to get it. They had told me it would take 4-6 weeks.

So now I guess I need to go and rent a pedicab.

I just have a few questions:

1. There were over 900 pedicabs licensed last week in NY but only a couple hundred drivers applied for a DL, what are the pedicab owners doing with all the licensed pedicabs? Is there a shortage of drivers or am I missing something??
2. I've driven the horse carriages and have some basic idea of supplies to have with me, what do you guys recommend or carry w/you when working a pedicab?
3. I'm still working full time so I plan on doing this on days off and weekends, anyone know who has the best rental rates in NYC?
