Looking for work where it will be warm.
It is always nice to work where the weather is pleasent so your passengers are enjoying themselves,of course the driver will be in good spirits as well. The season is changing once again here in Mackinaw City Michigan and no longer are many tourists around to ride. Time to work in another location if possible and bringing my cabs with me. I would like look to work for another company if possible, so if anyone needs some help it is always nice to keep the cabs as productive as possible over the winter.I have two,new last year, red Mainstreet broadways with tan canopys and amplified sound systems. Planning things, so if anyone has any ideas ,please let me know.

I am in mackinaw city and not on the island. The Chambers family owns the horse taxi's and carriage company's and have been there since the late 1800's. Politics and discrimination play a huge role in not allowing pedicabs on the island. After approaching the island on the matter,I was told that "a pedicab is not an approved bicycle on the island". When a bicycle is on Mackinaw Island, the bicycle has to have either a tag from the ferry line indicating that it is a temporary stay bicycle on the island and that the owner paid the $8.00 for the bike to be transported on the ferry. Then there are the resident bicycles that actually need to be licensed by the police station. There really is no law against pedicabs, certain people just don't want to see bicycle taxi's on the island to compete with the empire of one family. Proper Legal Representation is really all it takes and is in the near future. 120 days is the typical boom time for the mid-west's number one tourist destination and the island is still part of that figure.
