    Default scratch build

    Does anyone have info plans links on how to build a rickshaw from scratch.What is the best driver position front or rear, it seems to me pedeling from behind would be an easier build.Ive rode in becac in indonesia never heard of any in Australia.Any help.

    There are some hand drawn plans on this site some where. It is for the "improved" Indian style pedicab. As for rider position, I like the delta trike with the driver up front, and passengers over the rear axle.

    With the becac style it would seem to me that you would end up having to move the passengers weight around to steer the bike. That might not be such a good thing.

    Thanks for your reply Ken. Here in Newcastle AU they are thinking of removing the heavy rail link into the cbd its a harbour forshore area about 3k and refurbishing it to a green / mall situation it would be ideal for rickshaws, sightseeing etc. TKS Haddy
