    Default G.E.A.R.S from Plattsburgh NY

    Hello!
This is Kris Watson of Green Earth Adventures Rickshaw Services (GEARS). I am brand new to the business in my very seasonal market. I am here hoping to find good info on opperating my business, help locating insurance for owner/operator bike cabs (trailers) and possible look for a good deal on a used trik style pedicab delivered to 12901 :-)

My press release for our business was yesterday. We have not hauled out first passanger yet because the company that manufactured my bike cab did not give me accurate information about the insurance. If I had only know.... lol. Oh well live and learn right? My mom always said never take the word of someone that is trying to sell you something. Now to try and get on track after a huge derailment.

    Nice meeting you all.

Company out of Burlington VT. Pedal Power Bike Taxi LLC. He is a SCUM BAG ripping people off. I see he is present here on the forums. He seems to know what he is doing in the shop and is putting out what look to be some quality units that are easy to haul, but truth be told they are DEATH TRAPS welded in a barn/garage

Oh and I give MAJOR PROPS to Mike Neilson. What a nice guy. I dont think I have ever met an insurance man so down to earth and helpful!!!

MORAL OF THE STORY: Do NOT buy a bike cab (trailer) from James SImpson EVER

UPDATE: James of Pedal Power Bike Taxi has been horrible and even made violent threats because myself and a lady in RI have asked for our money back,

UPDATE2: James will be closed for business soon if he does not do something to rectify this problem.

I don't know what you are talking about Cycle Pathic.....were called Pedal Power Bike Taxi for a reason.....check google earth for a terrain map and you will see why we have the name we do......

C'mon.....just because you drive a steel pig of a bike to work......Doesn't mean you go AWOL on the bigger picture right....?? These guys are buying my cabs to innovate, not congregate!!!!!

Anyways........new prototype trike is finished, and there as a decent chance we can get an investment to mass produce soon.....until then we still build them one at a time with gears only, and allow the client to upgrade with any components that will "Pimp Your Pedal Cab"....

His cabs look sick, and there is no faster horse out there......we make all our vehicles out of T-6 6061 Alloy and are the lightest and probably the strongest and most efficient vehicles in the world right now...........

See you guys at the Pedal Cab Olympics !!!!!

As a follow up I wanted to let ya'll know I found insurance. About $1000/year for one bike cab (trailer) Must supply pictures. This is the ONLY company out of 12 I contacted that will even consider insuring a trailer. Neilson will if you can prove the trailer has it's own braking system.
