New Blog for London Rickshaw/Pedicab riders
Hi everyone. I'm part of a group of London students that has just set up a blog for rickshaw drivers based in London. It's called http://rickshawsinlondon.com/. Please check it out and tell us what you think, and what you as rickshaw drivers would want from a blog like this - we're hoping to be bringing drivers specifically from the London area together, so any suggestions are welcome!

If decired, I could open a subsection / subforum for the collegues of London. No prob at all...The advantage of a forum is a better structure while discussing subjects...a blog has it's certain limitations.... Feel free to contact with me...and have in mind: I will be travelling from tomorrow 30th of November till 10th of December...
Saludos

Hi Trixi! Do you have an email address or a number we can contact you on? The point of the website is more for a more interactive experience of rickshaw driving than forum posts can sometimes show, and some features discussing issues you all face specifically in London such as licensing as well. My email is cressup@gmail.com , feel free to contact me!

This is not much in the way of technology though I suppose it might have been when it was first invented. You call this a "Soho Rickshaw Horn" It is a cheap bike horn used by rickshaw drivers who cant speak English to draw attention to themselves in the hopes that they might get the punters in. They seldom do. It will be interesting to see where this goes though I don't see it going far. We have a very high turn around when it comes to drivers and most of em cant speak English. And on Fri. when you are out talking to rickshaw drivers around Picadilly and Oxford Circus about what makes them tick or what ever could you please ask them to pull there rickshaws onto the pavement? This would be a big help as all most of them do is block the streets anyway. My life is a complicated drinkin game.

Don't worry, the "technology" page is a work in progress and will soon feature a video of a rickshaw being built with one of the rickshaw mechanics at their garage, that picture is just there for now whilst we work on the rest of the site. It sounds like you have a little bit of a grudge against rickshaw drivers though, so I'm not sure what to say to that!
