Pedicab Co-op in Edinburgh

Hi Everyone,

I am just interested to know whether anyone knows of any pedicab co-ops that are currently working elsewhere? I would like to create a small co-op in Edinburgh whereby 4 or 5 members each buy a Pedicab and we share workload and resources. One person tasked with handling online enquiries via the website, another in charge of signing up drivers, another for managing the revision and maintenence of the pedicabs themselves and so on....

Any costs or profits would be divided equally between the members of the coop and so it wouldn´t matter whether your bike was out of action for a given month, you would still receive a share of any income from the other bikes.

The old ´divide and conquer´thinking.

I´m open to comments and criticizm....so let me have it!

Thanks an interesting idea. Insurance would definitely be cheaper. I don't know of one in the United States.
