Rickshaw with canvas roof?
I´m working on a design at the moment for a rickshaw cabin with a canvas retractable roof (based on the old Citroen 2CV models) It seems to be one of the neatest and most adaptable designs for my needs but there is perhaps a reason why it doesn´t feature on the most popular designs.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons of such a roof design?

Here´s a photo of the Citroen 2CV from above... http://nozama.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54...007d970b-400wi Some are simply rollable (is that a word?) and others slide backwards when you want to open them. The material is woven acrylic and the whole lot retails at around 245GBP from 2CV collector sites like this one: http://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/hood-b...ts-p-1653.html The roof can be easily opened and closed by passangers and can also be part-opened too. Obviously the frame stays in place when the roof retracts. Ideally, I´d like to make the whole rickshaw a copy of the rear end of the 2CV.

Tdayuk has designed a way cool rickshaw and a nice retractable canopy kinda thing. They look good though I like my 'rag top' that goes with my MS. Drop him a PM
