    Default Guidebike

    Hello all,

I started last year in the guiding business using a veloform citycuiser 1.
Hope to find some tips/hints on the maintenance of the vehicle.

    I am located in Mechelen/Belgium.

    Hello All,

I need to replace the battery of my veloform citycruiser1.So I ordered a new battery, but wanted to remove the existing dead batteries already.

So I started looking at the manual. It looks that I need to remove the cabine.

The four screws at the back I can easily remove. They have nuts on the other side, so I feel safe unscrewing them.

However, what should I do with the two times two screws in the front?

    foto2.jpg

Can I just unscrew them? I donot see a nut at the other side of the cabine.

I am affraid of not being able to assemble the cabine again.

    Any help?

    Thanks,

    Peter

Unscrew them also. If not you will not be able to get the cabin off. Dont worry. Get the driver saddle also off...if not you will not be able to pass the cabin. I Recommand two people two get the cabin off...on at the top and one person on the back. Dont forget to disconnect the cables from the light hidden in the back of the CC...

Thanks for the swift reply. Is there anywhere a photo description of how to remove the cabin?
That would be useful. I am afraid my manual is not complete for this.

    - So this means that these screws on the front have tapped screw-thread in the plastic cabin? I am afraid I will be wearing out the hole.
    - Can you explain a bit what I should do with the cables of the light?

    Thanks,

    Peter

I don't know if there is a photo description...

Yes - the screws are screwed directly in the plastic...at least in our CC1...but dont worry...just get them off....we have done it since 15 years and never had any problem.

Cables: the cables from the cabin on the back (blinker, light) are connected to the batteries...so you can see under the cabin on the right side (back) - a white connector...which is connected to the batteries...you have to disconnect the cabin from the chasis / batteries...otherwise you would not get the cabin off.

Don't worry. Just try it :-)
    Saludos
