Exclamation US$ 350 rickshaw from India

Why buy a $1400 rickshaw when you can buy it for $350. We manufacture and export high quality, sturdy and low cost rickshaws. Our rickshaws are being sold in various countries including Morroco, Denmark and Australia. This rickshaw has no gears and is best suited for flat countries.

25 rickshaws of the type shown in picture was recently sent to Casablanca, Morocco. Rickshaw is heat painted and is available in all colors. The canopy easily removable to enjoy the best of sun and shade!!

Price of this rickshaw is only US$350 (ex-factory) and 18 of these can be put in a 20 feet container. Write to me (Manish) on rickshawindia@yahoo.com for more details!!

    Default Handicapped cycle

Thank you for your email. I love the project:

"Handicapped cycle: A low cost handicapped bicycle we developed with the expertise from an austrian engineer who was working in India for an NGO. Its quite popular these days with a number of NGO's, WHO, Charity organizations, Government Health department; who are buying these from us. It costs only US$95(ex-factory). "

    Default Africa - no idea...

Sorry, I do not have any contact to pedicabbers in Africa. Maybe it could be an idea to contact directly (phone, email etc.) with associations working there.

Exclamation "Why buy a $1400 rickshaw"

"Why buy a $1400 rickshaw" or more , well because they make them 'here' (your home country). Most pedicabs will come under regulations soon & makers will need to be able to ensure that breaks are up to local standards. Structures are strong enough to take 2x 80kg passengers (or more), stabilety is up to the job. Once we have a big accident with a pedicab not insured or well builed, thats when it gets harder for all of us.

Why not builed better, charge more & get a secure future market?

Try googeling African cycle chareties, they may be able to help with you idea's.

I have seen a few of those handicaped cycles in Africa but not many as the roads are a lot more fucked up than Indias roads are. Good luck.
