Default Hi from Telluridem in Seattle

Greetings....I'd like to build or buy a personal transport vehicle for two people that has fairing similar to the Trixis. Most of the configurations I see in the U.S. aren't what I want. I just want to transport my gf and self to her job and shopping which is < than 2 miles max. Any suggestions? (And direct me to a fairing forum if there is one please. Thanks in advance.)

Post You might wana be in talktalk

I managed to pick up lots of info in talktalk but this particular topic depends on exactly what you are trying to make or buy.

If it's just you & another, then a tandem (or recumbent tandem) may offer a cheaper way to go, there are chines pedicabs which are both cheap & have a range of different fairings. So start with recumbent tandems & work your way over to pedicabs.

If your thinking DIY, try drawing your idea & get us to offere alterations but make life easy & start with a subframe (maybe a MAINSTREET).

I spotted a few 'Trixis' (Velcotaxi's) in NY, so they are already in the states, if you wana try to see what there like its just a flight into NY.
